She was a very unique woman. I felt like she always understood me as a child. She took me to do things that no one else had. She taught me how to skin a squirrel and to go hunting. She had taught me how to take care of different kind of animals. I love and miss her so much. I regret not being able to share time with her and give her back the wonderful things she did for me.

As the oldest niece of this unique woman, I share a lot of memories. Especially the time she taught me how to drive having never been behind the wheel of a car we laughed and laughed, and swore we would never tell Grandma. We had the best time. Although we, nieces and nephews have families of our own now it is the memories that carry us through this time.

I was very young when i spent time with Jean Smith my aunt. But i do remember spending summers there and always known she had a love for animals and art. Especially drawing, painting and her many figurines she has made in the past. I'm sorry to hear of the loss Grandma and will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

I only got to meet my great aunt jean once. I was very little and don't remember it, but i did talk to her on the phone. She was a very sweet lady and I wish I could have gotten the chance to meet her one last time, but I know I will meet her in heaven some day.. I love you aunt jean very much and I miss you dearly!!
