Ahhhhh Lou, or to many Nana. As a child growing up with Pat, you were a strong force in teaching us right from wrong with a loving touch, but a firm voice in letting us (Pat and myself)know when we were in "big" trouble.
As adults we became friends and along that road shared a bond of mothers and daughters.
I know my mom and I will cherish your smile, your continued loving ways, the strong bond as friends with deep faith knowing there was greatness in all of us. Lou always supported our efforts with yet a guiding hand, filled our hearts with laughter and shared the tears of joy, and grief divided among us. In closing, I will share what has become my motto.
To get something you never had, you have to do something you never did. When God takes something/someone from your grasp, he's merely opening your hands to receive something better. The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you. Lou lived life in those words. Today we celebrate you Lou/Nana.
Peace be to your memory. I love you.
