I only learned today of Charlie's passing. He came to my house a couple years ago to fix both my washer and dryer. I had just bought some new audio equipment, and we got to talking about what kinds of music we enjoyed. I was happy to know that we shared a love of Van Morrison. He needed to order parts, and I told him he might want to bring some of his favorite cds the day he would return to do the work, and then we could listen to them while he worked. I enjoyed that day very much, and I'm grateful I got to know him, even just a little bit. It was so clear to me that he was a kind, thoughtful, and loving man. I'm sad that he has passed on. For his family and friends, please know that even though the time we spent together was very brief, he added joy to my life and made me a better person for having met him. Please accept my condolences for your loss.

Rhonda, Drew and Jill, My heart is very saddened to hear about Charlie! My thoughts are with you all! Praying for peace and comfort gor you! Charlie was a good man and will be missed by many! Charlie! You had such a big heart and were always so giving. You were such a good friend to us. I'm going to miss having you stop in or honk when driving by. Who am I going to call now when I need something fixed?? Who is going to play practical jokes on me when fixing my sink by rubber banding the sprayer? You got me not once, not twice, but three times that day! Who is going to do circles around my house at two a.m. I'm going to miss you and your humor so much. Listening to a little Van Morrison for you today, Charlie. You will be missed but not forgotten. Rhonda, we sure are thinking about you too. Prayers for you and if there is anything you need let us know.
