As a friend of Dee's daughter, Connie, I had visited their home after school many times. Dee was one of the "working mom's" as was my own. I remenber going downtown after school with Connie and walking up the back staris of JC Pennys to her office. Most of our mothers had gained weight after having their babies, but Dee some how had managed to keep her figure and was able to wear the same size clothes and shoes as her high school daughters. Did any 3 females ever have more clothes than the Snook girls?
I remember when Dee was the event planner at the Newton Motor Inn in it's hey day. She was such a gracious hostess and I always looked forward to seeing her when I attended my monthly womens club meetings held there. Connie had moved away but seeing Dee always brought back memories
of that warm wonderful family
and the laughter around their dinner table. I moved away from Newton 33 yrs ago but I have never forgotton Dee or her lovely, spirited manner.
Connie, Linda and Tim I am so sorry for your loss.
