Marsha Arlette Wates, the daughter of Arthur Donald Kyle and Doris Elaine Isaccson, was born November 26, 1949, in Mishawauka, Indiana. Marsha worked as a beautician in Illinois. She moved to Newton in 2000. Marsha enjoyed many types of crafts, including making jewelry. She enjoyed dogs, dolls and Disney. She had attended Willowbrook and enjoyed her many friends there and enjoyed her time living in Newton and at Nelson Manor.
Marsha died Friday, September 18, 2009, at Nelson Manor in Newton. She was 59 years old. Marsha was preceded in death by her parents.
Those left to honor Marsha's memory include her daughter, Kendra D. (Alan) Halferty of Newton, Iowa and Lindsay (Adam) Rebel of Newton, Iowa; her grandchildren, Serena Halferty and Lennon Rebel; and her sisters, Lynn Sheehan of Florida and Kay Pratt of Illinois.
