I am so sad about losing Bud. He was such a good friend and we shared so much together. We first became good friends when I worked with him at the Union Square ticket office. We went for a drink one night after work at the top of the Mark and were fast friends from then on! He helped me move to Boston from San Francisco and I'll always remember him sneaking my cat into a hotel! We couldn't talk to each other for 10 minutes we were laughing so hard! There are so many wonderful memories! I miss you, Bud. You were a great friend and a fabulous human! The world has lost one of it's best!

I was saddened to hear of the death of my cheerleading buddie from NHS. I have thought of Buddie as I knew him, so many times and often wondered if he was still in CA and working for the airlines. I worked at his parents restaurant Dutch & Evie- Kingmas. We attended the same church-First Lutheran. Buddie- rest in peace and God Bless you.

My deepest sympathies to Bud's family and friends. I just returned from being away to hear the sad news. I moved away from California in 1991 but still remember working with Bud at Delta and what a great guy he was. I will keep his family in my prayers.

My heart goes out to you the family of Bud Kingma. I had the pleasure of working with Bud at the San Francisco Reservations Center for Delta Airlines. He taught me a lot about customer relations, something that has always served me well. He was a truly lovely and generous man and he will be missed.

Uncle Bud, we're going to miss you. I still remember when I was 4 or 5 I tripped over your foot and fell into the blow-up kiddie pool. Once you knew I was okay we couldn't stop laughing. That's how I'll always think of you... with a smile on your face and laughter in your heart. I will love you forever, Uncle Bud. (Oh, and say hi to Dad!)

I am so sad that Bud has passed away. He was such a wonderful friend to me. I think of all the great stories that he told me over the years of many people that I know and don't know.He had so many stories about sweet William, his sisters, his neice, his nephew, David, Larry and of course his parents... I have to laugh when I see his name at the top of this page. He was very secretive about his middle name. He told me that it began with and E and he would only tell me what it was if I guessed it. It felt a bit like Rumpelstilskin. It took me months , but I finally guessed Egbert. I remember his face dropping in surprise. He told me to never tell anyone and swore me to secrecy. There are so many stories like this one that make me laugh when I think of Bud. I will mss him very much.

I have a sad and heavy heart in the loss of a very wonderful friend. I do know and believe with all my being he is in a Better Place now...free from his earthly pain and suffering. He is now at peace..and May God wrap Bud in His Arms, saying to him: "Well done, my Good and Faithful Man..Welcome to the Kingdom of Heaven!" I knew Bud for over 40 years; having worked with him at Delta in both NYC and San Francisco. Eternal Rest Grant Unto Him, O Lord, And Let The Perpetual Light Shine Upon Him! So long, Bud. Fifty plus years I've know this man. We shared our early adult years discovering our place in this world. Fun times, hardships and everything inbetween.....I will never forget this brave soul who endured so much the final months of his life. He will always be with me. Good-bye dear friend.

I am very sad and broken heart to louse my best Buddy, he was a wonderful man!! I feel very lucky to knee him for almost 15 years and share grate moments. I miss him so much, but I feel better to know that he is out of pain, worries and in a better place. God Bless you Bud, You always will be in my heart! I promise you.

I kneew Bud almos 10 years, he was my good friend, My Condolences to his family, special to his friend William Mendez who was devoted to take good care of him all this years of his illness and 24/7 the last 10 months. God bless you Bud, we are missing you but I know you are in a good place now.
