THE FIRST TIME THAT I WORKED WITH JEFF AT CARDNIAL CORNER, I SHUT HIS HEAD IN THE ICE CREAM COOLER. IT MADE HIM BLEED RIGHT IN THE CENTER OF HIS FORE HEAD. I FELT AWFUL!! I APPLOIZED A HUNDRED TIMES THRU OUT THE NIGHT. HE JUST LAUGHED AT ME AND SAID THAT FOR YEARS SOME ONE NEEDED TO KNOCK SOME SINCE INTO HIM. THE NEXT DAY WHEN I CAME INTO WORK HE WAS STANDING THERE WITH A BUCKET ON HIS HEAD AND STEEL TOED BOOTS ON. HE SAID WELL I'M READY TO WORK WITH YOU TODAY! I LUAHGED SO HARD I CRIED. NO MATTER HOW THE DAYS WERE GOING OR HOW JEFF OR MYSELF WAS FEELING (THE CHIEF) WOULD ALWAYS MAKE ME LAUGH. THANK YOU OF ALL THE WONDERFUL MEMORIES AND TAKING ME INTO YOUR FAMILY AND INTO YOUR HEART. I WILL MISS YOU! LOVE, BRANDY

We have very fond memories of Jeff these past few years. Most importantly to us was the ice cream trips with the boys and day care kids. He always had a warm smile and general interest in the kids. They begged every day to go to the ice cream place. I spent a great deal of time there with Jeff and the kids. I also enjoyed his friendly smile at the Lake. He always waved and greated us with a smile. He will truly be missed by many. May God bless you during this difficult time. Jeff was mine, along with so many other girls, AAU basketball coach for many years. Not only was he a great coach preparing us physically and mentally for tournaments, but his sense of humor made it easy for us to endure those late night practices running our butts off! Loved his t-shirt that said 'I'm too sexy for my hair, that's why I don't have any!' And his comments made during basketball such as 'god didn't give you girls a butt just for boys to look at!' Jeff you are such an inspiration to many people! Thank you so much for everything especially the memories!

I will never forget the summers I spend babysitting for the girls while Ox worked nights and Geri worked and traveled. Every morning he would come home and joke because I did not have breakfast made, joked about if I had my boyfriend over, and then made sure that I kept the girls quite so he could sleep! Oh I miss his sense of humor! He would always find time to shot hoops with the girls and I before he left or went somewhere! God truly does have an angel up in heaven today!
