Hello to Lucy's family, I remember Lucy and husband from the Palo Alto Grange Hall dances that my father ran. Boy could she dance!!!
As a little girl, I used to watch them on the dance floor and try to learn steps. Always full of fun.

Lots of wonderful memories of Aunt Ceal. She was a "hoot" and we always had a great time visiting her, first on the farm, and later at her home in Newton. She will be dearly missed! Thanks Aunt Ceal for all your love and concern for me and my family over the years.
I have such fond memories of Lucy when I worked with her at Maytag. She was always fun and full of energy. She just always made everyone feel good when they were around her!!!!!! She is now in the arms of God.
Aunt Ceal (My Favorite Aunt) always made me feel at home in Newton, and was a great source of family history sharing little family secrets it seemed no one else knew. She was the last of four siblings, a generation now past but not lost or forgotten. Her memory lives on in those she leaves behind. I love you and miss you.
Mrs. Snodgrass was my teacher at the Metz school. I remember her as being a good teacher and someone who always cared about the kids.
I saw her about town and we always greeted each other warmly.
I have good memories of one of my first teachers.
I have such fond memories as a child being a close neighbor to Lucy and then recently seeing her as a patient. I was so surpised she remembered me.
My sister's and I enjoyed living so close to her! She will be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers are with her family!
