I remember "Grasshopper" fondly from my youth in Baxter. Layman and Rex were brothers to Ima Gene who was married to my Uncle Vernon. Layman was such a fun and friendly man who was well liked by everyone. My condolences to La Verna and to the rest of the family. I spent a lot of time in Ira at the home of Vernon and Imy and at the home of my Uncle John and Aunt Pearl Gearhart.
