Dear Joan,
I was so sorry to hear of Tom's passing. I will miss him more then you could ever know. His gentle soul is at rest now. I was lucky to have had the chance to meet you and Tom and call you both friends. I used to work at a business located next to your apartment and you and Tom would always stop in for a chat, bottle of water or just to see if I was ok. Your friendship has not been forgotten. My condolence to you and your family.
