I never met Mr. Lamb in person, however I spoke with him on the phone quite often. I made his reservations going to & from dialysis & we always enjoyed our conversations. We would joke about giraffes & he would ask about my family. My heart sank when I spoke with Rick & was told of his passing. Mr. Lamb was a wonderful person & I am glad I had the time to get to know him, even if it was for a short while.

The matador suit was a gift from his aunt Judy Lammers. She had gone to Tijuana, Mexico and brought the suit back for him. He wore it proudly.

Here are some random photos. I have a lot more and will hopefully share. These are the band of brothers who built dad that ramp for him to get to dialysis. That's him with our daughter Allison. Fishing 1992. Iowa. A tractor fail in 1957. Our son John in 2009. Sandie and Dad in 1995. Dad's highschool graduation photo 1960. Dad as a matador?! Yosemite in 1999. Four generations of Lamb men.
