So sorry to hear of Ms. Velda's passing. Enjoyed seeing her & Mr. Russ Clayton coming into the Plaza Bank. They are a awesome couple making Heaven brighter. May God comfort & guide you all through the days ahead. God speed Ms. Velda, tell Mr. Clayton this Eskimo has many fond memories of you both.
Eskimo Proverb:
"Perhaps they are not stars, but rather openings in heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy."
My deepest condolences to Ken, Kevin and family regarding the loss of Velda. I was sad to hear that she passed but now she can be with her husband Russ.

What a lovely lady. I taught at Berg Elementary for several years and got to know her. She was a joy to be around and a friend to all with smiles and kind words, Russ was also a good friend. Where you saw one you saw the other, always together.
Blessings to your family.

I wish I'd had more of a chance to get to know Velda. It's evident she lived a full life and was loved by all. Ken and Kevin, I'm very sorry for the loss of your mom.
I remember when I was young that aunt velda was always a great aunt. I loved being able to visit her whenever we went back to Missouri and Iowa. I remember that when I got married she surprised me by coming out to Oregon for the ceremony. That was the last time that I saw her but she was always in my heart. Donna Marie
