Lee's kindness, gentleness and love were evident in the way that her eyes lit up as she talked about her children and grandchildren. She loved flowers, and birds, and sewing - but she loved people most of all. Her kindness lives on in the lives of all those whom she touched.
Prayers to Lee's family and Corny. Lee and Corny have been my parents and my neighbors for many years. What a beautiful, kind women Lee was. May you all find peace in the memories. Mark and Roxie Anderson
Whenever I think about what contentment means, I think about Auntie Lee. She embodied the very essence of the word.
Throughout her life she suffered so much physical pain, and I am grateful to know that she is finally free from her discomfort -- moving and walking unhindered once again.
Her gentleness was indeed evident to all.
I was privileged to babysit, as a teenager in the 60's, for Leola while she was working at the hospital. She provided both a listening ear and lots of supportive hugs during those years. She was truly a Woman of Faith who I deeply respected and I will cherish her memory always.
I was just getting to know and care for Leola at Park Centre. I loved her hugs and will think of her as a kindred spirit. Love and prayers to her family!
Sheila, Donald, Diane and families - heartfelt sympathy is extended to all of you in the passing of Lee. I always remember her with a smile on her face, such a sweet lady. We visited with her at Nelson Manor when she and Cornie were there for awhile. She still had that same smile on her face. Please feel our prayers for all of you at this time. God will give you strength both now and in the days ahead. And the best part is this - we will all be together again one day in heaven. What a comfort is that!

I worked with Lee at Skiff many years ago she was a recovery room nurse and one of the best. My memories of her are very fond. She was a gentle giant and never gave up. Her faith in God was ever present. She was a great mother and wife. Lee will hold always a speicial place in my heart. I hope that God holds the family up as they send her to a better place.
