I remember the first time I met John and also the last time I saw him. I had stopped at Western Sire to drop off a bull for collection and was just headed into the office when i see a John Deere tractor coming toward me with the hazard lights flashing. I could see that who ever was driving was waving with their whole body. The tractor came to a stop in front of me and out jumped John who came over and gave me a hand shake and a hello. I was surprised to see him as he had retired some months prior. We got to visit and catch up. I am so glad that I saw him that day! Rest in Peace John I'm glad that i had the privilege of calling you a friend and thank you for your honesty and friendship in return!
