For Clarice especially and all who would listen along, The Johnson and Sigurdson familes have a history of sorts like many in Newton, Iowa the once home of Maytag. Small town where many lives have touched one another's and left lasting ties. I remember Mark's exuberance and personality from high school and for a while beyond that time but I lost track over the years. Sometimes hearing of him thru my parents or from Morris and you Clarice. You and I share something in common with many parents of grown children. We love them always and no matter how old we or they get, when they look back at us in parting we still see that shining child they once were smiling back at us full of joy and wonder of the world and God's love. Mark is smiling at you now in just that way. Thinking of you, Morris, Mark and life .

Dear Clarice, Megan and Family, My sincere condolences to your family. Mark will be deeply missed in so many ways. If it weren't for Mark encouraging me to ask Darrell out, I wouldn't have been so dearly blessed to have had him in my life. Very happy memories.
