The sunrise will always greet a new dawn even if we are not all here to see it together. Today though the sun sets with quiet brilliance on the life of a true icon of Newton and a treasure to her family and to all who knew her. Pat spent much of her life bringing a warming ray of that same sunshine into any life she saw that was missing it. As long as all of you remember who Pat was to you then she will never be far from the very best parts of who you have become because of her. So many things we can say about your mother and wife; the best thing about her is how she always chose love and gave it freely to all. I will always remember her laugh and smile and how she uplifted those around her. She will have many jewels in her angel crown. Love, prayers, and sympathy to each one of you. She told me in high school to always call her Ma Koppin and that is exactly how I will think of her. Susan B
