My Grandma lived her time on this earth always choosing to see through the eyes of love. She had a tremendous faith that was seen in her actions and could be heard in her laughter. ... I think it is said somewhere in the Bible that if all the stories of Christ were written down there wouldn't be enough space to hold them all...I think the same would be true if all the memories of this tremendous soul were shared. She raised the bar when it came to love... to have been loved by her may have been the greatest gift I was ever given. As a child when she done housework, she involved me in it... If she was cooking, I was learning how. She taught me that I was valued, that I was worthy of attention but the housework still needed to get done, lol, she was so awesome at involving me, I didn't mind doing it. She would let me look through her makeup and try it on to play. Wrap my hair in rags on Saturday nights for church on Sunday. The countless nights we sat at the dining room table playing Aggravation or Chinese checkers, drinking hot cocoa listening to my grandpas hooting and hollaring type of laugh at whatever program he happened to be watching, usually the Golden Girls... The memories she confided in me. So many awesome awesome memories... Thank you Grandma! You're passing is not a loss. Your life while lived to anyone who knew you was a gain.
