What a very special man. I worked in the nursery with him and how he loved those kids and they loved him. It was very obvious how great a dad and grandfather he must have been. I am sure his faith and God's gifting him allowed him to be so special. The world could use a lot more just like him. My sympathy for your great loss of him and his wife in such a short period of time.
