Larry & boys. My heart is heavy today for you and your family. What a tragic loss. She was one of the greatest women I have ever known. What a fighter. She would be an inspiration to anyone. Always upbeat and never wanted anyone to feel her pain. She will be missed by all. If you need us you know where to go.

Larry, Evan & Jordan~ I was very saddened to hear of Sheri's illness and passing. I have MANY fond memories of her from the 5 years we worked together at IT. We sat right by eah other for a long while. I'm not going to tell you all the wonderful things you already know about her...but just that I will always remember her bright smile, laugh and how much she talked about you all and LOVED you so much...it was evident that you were her priority and joy in her life. I will forever cherish the memory of us all going to the Ia Cubs game and Spaghetti Works. Much love, thoughts and prayers coming your way. (((HUGS)))

So sorry to hear that Sheri lost her battle. She was such an amazing and encouraging, positive person. Many prayers are going up for you and your family. Thinking of her, words to a song come to mind...."don't weep for me, I'm on the other side" and I can so see her looking down on each of you.

Larry, Jordan, and Evan...The memories I have with Sheri are so important to me! She always had a smile and if I close my eyes I can hear her laughter, loud and clear--it was one of my favorite things about her! You are very lucky to have gotten to be a part of her life, and she of yours too. Her family was so important to her but, I don't have to tell you that. Embrace your own memories and help each other thru this time. We all will be as blessed as Sheri when we meet with her again, Thinking of you with hope and prayers, please tell John and Joanie I'll be there for them, too....Diana Harmon Mogler

Sheri was a wonderful woman and a joy to work with. She always had a smile and a laugh to offer. And I loved hearing about what concert she was looking forward to going to next. She had awesome taste in music. There's just so many wonderful things to say about Sheri, but being her family you already know what an awesome lady she was. I will miss seeing her around town and chatting at each opportunity. God bless you at this difficult time and I will keep you in my prayers.

A Greatful Spirit
A Beautiful Heart
A Giving Soul
Sheri made a difference just by being.
Larry, Jordon and Evan, She is now with our Lord. Even though she is gone from you, parents and her brother and all her knew and loved her she will always play a part in our lives by her smile, wonderful memories, everlasting spirt and most of all her love for you.
I met Sheri the day your family moved into the house right next door to me. Sheri came over and introduced herself and asked if she could borrow some hairspray because it was still packed away. I gladly gave her my hairspry and told her to keep it because I had another bottle. That was the beginning of our family friendship. Jordan was just a toddler and Evan a baby. As you remember Larry Sheri nick named you Earl and myself May because we liked to do landscaping. Well you did most of the work. Sheri was kind enough to have Elizabeth check in with her when the school bus dropped her off. Elizabeth would usually stay until I got home from work. I wanted to pay her but she always would say no she helps me with the kids!
Later to my dismay you moved to a different home that ended up being right next door to my sister Bonnie and her family. Bonnie was always thanking me for her new neighbors that they grew to love just as we did.
Sheri and I started working at IT at the same time. Over the years there we worked very closely together.
She was so much more then just a co-worker and neighbor but a true inspiration and friend.
I talked to her on the phone just a few weeks ago. She couldn't have visitors so I talked to her from the lobby of the hospital. I told her how much I admired her and loved her and her reply was I love you too Kathy and you are my true dear friend.
She meant so much to me and others and know she was your world, and you her world.
Please Lord
May her bright light shine upon Larry and her boys and your everlasting love watch over them.

Larry & Sons: I knew Sheri from when I worked at Iowa Telecom. I remember her desk was just inside the door when you came up the back stairway. When we came back from our breaks, she would greet us as we opened the door and somehow after seeing her smile or hearing her "Hello", going back to work was a little easier!!! Sheri was like an angel on earth. She exemplified the meaning of a true Christian. She never had an unkind word about anyone in all the time I worked with her. She had to deal with the customer complaints day after day and yet still stayed positive about everything in her life. Her boys (yes, you too, Larry) were her world!!! She was so proud to be the mother of her boys!!! She and I used to talk about little boys and their moms as I have 3 sons of my own. She loved her family so deeply!! Her smile will always shine down on you and she will walk by your side throughout your life!!!! I know she will be with you in spirit and in your heart forever. She will be missed but we know there is no more suffering where she is now. God be with you all through this time of sadness. Lean on him for strength and guidance in the days to follow. We were all blessed by knowing Sheri and let us go forward and take Sheri's example and share it with others in our lives. God bless you all!

Words can't express how much Sheri will be missed. She was such a great person to get to know and work with. Her smile was infectious and yes, her love for her family was everything to her. I will forever remember the band chaperone trips I had with her. The kids were amazed at how many songs we (us old foggies) knew on the bus. I will never be able to watch Jesus Christ Superstar again without thinking of her and the terrific time we had seeing it live in Feb. I and Jayla will always have a place in our hearts for her. God Bless you all in your loss and you will be in our thoughts and prayers always.

What can I say about such a beautiful person! She was so loving and caring about her family and friends!Sheri thought the world of Larry her boys and her Mom,Dad and Mark. With my parents being bestfriends with John and Joan~ I have really gotten to know Shari on a more personal level. She is probably the strongest person I know. Her attitude always amazed me because she fought this illness wholeheartly. Whenever we spoke she would only mention how many treatments she had left or that her hair was growing back in and she was so excited! She stayed positive and that is a trait that not many could say that we would have going through what she was dealing with on a daily basis. I too will miss her kind spirit and her wonderful smile and laugh! She truly lived her short life to the fullest! Maybe we can all learn something from Sheri~ that you don't take life for granted~ not even for one day.
To all of Sheri's wonderful family her legacy lives on in each of you and know that with every challenge in life she will help carry you through it. I will always remember you Sheri
and forever miss you.
May you all take comfort in the fact that Sheri never wanted anyone to feel sorry for her and she would have wanted all of her family to try to be strong through these difficult days and months ahead. Please know that you are all in my daily thoughts and prayers.
