Obituary of Patricia Jean Wierman

Patricia Jean Wierman, 94, was born May 3rd, 1920 in Buena Vista County in Iowa. She was the adopted daughter of Naaman E. and Mary J. (Mulligan) Wierman. Pat grew up in Colfax Iowa graduating with the class of 1940. Pat spent much of her later life living in Newton and attended Future Inc. and Progress Industries. She also lived many years at the Jasper Co. Care Facility. Pat later moved to Newton Health Care Center until her death. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Helen Harms, her nieces, Marilyn Crawford and Carolyn Casper and a son in infancy, Michael Davis. Pat is survived by her great nieces, Debbie (Kenny)Schwarz of Newton, Lori (James) Lukefahr of Colorado Springs, her nephew, John Crawford of Newton, her great nephews, Chris Crawford of Des Moines, and John (Brenda) Casper of Pella, and her many great-great nieces and nephews. Pat was involved in many activities at the Newton Health Care Center and loved going to Prairie Meadows to gamble. She loved all of her staff there very much and we appreciate all they did for Pat.
