Obituary of Beverly Ann Smith

Beverly Ann Smith, the daughter of Daniel John Anderson and Irene Louise Hayes, was born March 22, 1938, in Des Moines, Iowa. She graduated from Lincoln High in Des Moines. Beverly had worked for Delavan Manufacturing in Des Moines. She had also worked at several area restaurants. Beverly loved her family. She was a member of the Newton Baptist Temple. Beverly died, surrounded by her family, on December 27, 2008, at the Monarch Wing at Skiff Medical Center. She was 70 years old. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, her step-father, Edward LeClair; her brother, Donald Anderson and her sisters, Delores Phoenix and Rose Reimers. Those left to honor Beverly's memory include her daughters, Lori (Evan) Archer of Newton, Michelle Walter of Newton, Terry (Tom) Dawson of Norwalk, Billie (Thien) Tran of Des Moines, Sharon (Mike) Johnson of Norwalk, Phyllis Anderson of Des Moines; her sister, Sandra (Robert) Zuber of Omaha, NE; her brother's, Edward (Billie) LeClair of Des Moines, James (Cathy) LeClair of Des Moines; her granddaughters, Amanda Archer of Lynnville and Ashley Archer of Mingo; her special friends, Lola (Eldon) Pals, Charlie the cat, Maggie the dog, Pierce Arrow from Branson, MO and many nieces and nephews.
