I greatly enjoyed working with Bill in rehab at Park Centre and my heart is saddened with his passing. What a delightful man! His wonderful sense of humor and quick wit made our time together in therapy fun. He would sing the Navy theme song to me, "dance" little jigs in the parallel bars and always laugh as he looked at himself in the mirror exclaiming at who that "old man" was looking back at him. He taught me to turn "portside" and "stabird" - his pronounciation :-), instead of left and right on our walks. You were blessed with a wonderful father, grandpa and uncle. I miss my friend, Bill with his twinkling eyes, and will look for him in heaven. My thoughts and prayers are with each of you. May our heavenly Father envelope you with His peace and comfort. May the love of family and friends support you in remembering wonderful times you had with your loved one, Bill. Lord Bless.

Dear Kris, Sandy and Family, I knew Bill for only a few years when he lived in Lake City and his dignity and honor made him a special person to us. He always had a kind word and a smile for everyone at the clinic and hospital. Always remember the good times you shared and his soul lives on in a better place.

We have such wonderful memories of both Bill & Ramona. We knew them from St. Anne's Episcopal Church, and have such vivid memories of Ramona laughing and helping in the kitchen, and Bill in his straw hat, mowing that 2 acre field on the tractor. Bill never forgot us, even when he moved away, and he would pick up the phone and unexpectedly call. It brightened our day. Bill was such a committed Christian, and he felt free to talk about how his faith impacted him during the WWII. W#hat a blessed life they shared. Both he & Ramona are missed. Greg & Connie Skinner
