To:Lisa and family, Our family has wonderful memories of your father camping with us in Highlandville Iowa in the 90's. He was a very fun, patient and kind spirit. Our oldest son will always remember how he taught him how to bait his hook in the dark by moonlight. It was that or go back to camp for a flashlight and neither one of them wanted to to leave their great fishing hole. Please know that we are all saddened by the news of his passing and offer our condolences. Losing a parent is a life changing experience. Forever hold onto those wonderful memories and know that heaven now has one of their best fisherman ever. I bet he is telling a whopper of a fish story as we speak. Steve and I spent time together as teenagers and later as adults. Steve was a caring man, fun to be around and had loved his cars and racing. I can rememeber one time he took me to his apartment to see the new paint job. When I walked in it about knocked my eyes back into the sockets. It was bright competition orange. He was so proud of it. Just wanted to say something that might make you look back and smile. He was a good man and will be missed by all. Sheryl and I are thinking of you all and wanted to appologize for missing the service due to a prior commitment. You have our deepest sympathies and our in our thoughts.
