Obituary of Esther Winnie Wilson

Esther Winnie Wilson, the daughter of John B. and Winnie Alyda Eppink, was born February 17, 1915, in Gary Minnesota.
On April 6, 1936, Esther was united in marriage with Willard Arthur Wilson in Marshalltown, Iowa. They farmed together for 37 years. She lived in Jasper County most of her life and in Newton since 1972. Esther enjoyed reading, farming, flowers, gardening and the Golden Agers.
Esther died on Saturday, August 30, 2008, at USA Healthcare in Newton, Iowa. She was 93 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Willard, on August 4, 1977, her brothers, John DeJong and Martin DeJong and her sisters, Anna Swigart and Bessie DeJong.
Those left to honor the memory of Esther include her nieces, Dorothy and Glen Foster of Colfax, Iowa and Mary and Melvin Long of Bee Branch, Arkansas.
