Carrol Lee Edge, age 70, of Newton died Sunday, March 25, 2007 at , Newton.
Mr. Edge was born April 2, 1936 at Jasper County, IA the son of the late Everett and the late Clara (Bunse) Edge. He married Donna JoKent June 10, 1956 at Little Brown Church In Nashua, Iowa.
He was employed by Maytag Dairy Farm as a Plant Manager.
Mr. Edge was a member of Iowa Christmas Tree Growers Association; Jasper County Historical Society
He is survived by his wife: Donna Jo(Kent) Edge, one daughter: Lori & Doug Ricke of Fairfield, IA and two sons: David & Carol Edge of Fort Dodge, IA, Mark Edge of Windsor Heights, IA
Sister-in-law, Mary Lou & Ivan Sheeler of Monroe, IA
Predeceased by his Brother, Gerald Edge, Brother-in-law, Burton Kent
Calling hours will be Tuesday from Visitation with the family will be from 6 - 8pm at Pence ~ Reese Funeral Home, 310 N. 2nd Ave. E., Newton, IA. The funeral will be at at First United Methodist Church, 210 N. 2nd Avenue E., Newton with Rev. Gary Marzolf officiating.
Burial will be in Palo Alto, Newton on Wednesday at 12:00 pm.
Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church or Hospice of Jasper County
