Bette Jean Bewyer, age 90, of Newton died Sunday, July 1, 2007 at Monarch Wing At Skiff Medical Center, Newton.
Mrs. Bewyer was born March 24, 1917 at Newton, IA the daughter of the late Isaac N. and the late Lola (Prince) Bickel. He predeceased her 1996.
She was employed by Dr. Wayne Straight as a Secretary.
She is survived by three sons: Dennis & Barbara Bewyer of Iowa City, IA, Ronnal & Nancy Bewyer of Hernanda, FL, Steven Bewyer of Newton, IA
Predeceased by her , 1 Granddaughter, Daughter, Jane Bewyer, Husband, Willard Bewyer, Brother, Roy Bickel, Sister, Nada Nelson, Sister, Helen Woody, Sister, Bonnie Selway
. The funeral will be Tuesday at 1:00 at Newton Union Cemetery, 1600 - W. 4th Street N., Newton with Rev. Merle Smith officiating.
Burial will be in Newton Union Cemetery, Newton on Monday at 1:00 pm.
