Richard Dean Greene, age 78, of 1743 S. 8th Ave. E., Newton died Friday, July 20, 2007 at Heritage Manor Care Center, Newton. Mr. Greene was born January 16, 1929 at Newton, IA the son of the late Chester and the late Louise (Casper) Greene. He married Marilyn JoyceFarland June 15, 1952 at Unionville, Missouri. He served in the Navy from 1948 to 1952 during Korean war . He was employed by Kraft Foods as a Mechanic. Mr. Greene was a member of Newton VFW He is survived by his wife: Marilyn Joyce(Farland) Greene and three sons: Regan & Karen Greene of Mammoth Lake, CA, Scott & Linda Greene of Kellogg, IA, Richard & Barbara Greene of Norwalk, IA Brother of two sisters: Jane & Warren Depringer of Tacoma, WA, Beverly Russell of Newton, IA Calling hours will be Thursday from prior to services at Pence ~ Reese Funeral Home, 310 N. 2nd Ave. E., Newton, IA.
