Donna Jo Edge, age 70, of 1361 - S. 28th Ave. E., Newton died Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at Trinity Regional Medical Center, Fort Dodge.
Mrs. Edge was born September 24, 1936 at Newton, IA the daughter of the late Floyd and the late Faye (Carpenter) Kent. He predeceased her March 25, 2007.
She was employed by Doane Insurance Agency as a Secretary.
Mrs. Edge was a member of Iowa Christmas Tree Growers Association
She is survived by one daughter: Lori & Doug Ricke of Gfairfield, CT and two sons: David & Carol Edge of Fort Dodge, IA, Mark Edge of Windsor Hieghts, IA
Predeceased by her Brother, Burton Kent
Calling hours will be Friday from Visitation with the family will be from 6 - 8pm at Pence ~ Reese Funeral Home, 310 N. 2nd Ave. E., Newton, IA. The funeral will be Saturday at 10:30 at First United Methodist Church, 210 N. 2nd Avenue E., Newton with Rev. Gary Marzolf officiating.
Burial will be in Palo Alto, Newton on Saturday at 10:30 am.
Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church; JC Courthouse Christmas Lighting; Hospice of Jasper County
