Obituary of Daryle Wayne Parsons

Daryle Wayne Parsons, age 72, of 425 Water Street, Kellogg died Monday, October 15, 2007 at Skiff Medical Center, Newton. Mr. Parsons was born August 6, 1935 at Killduff, IA the son of the late Carl B. and the late Gretchen Edith (Drake) Parsons. He married Judith A.Callison April 29, 1961 at Kerllogg, Iowa. He served in the Air Force from 1955 to 1959 during Peace Time war . He retired from Maytag Company as a General Laborer in 1992. Mr. Parsons was a member of Newton Foursquare Church; Kellogg Fire Dept; Boy Scouts of America; Kellog Historical Museum He is survived by his wife: Judith A.(Callison) Parsons and three sons: Robert & Jolene Parsons of Colorado Springs, CO, Kevin Parsons of Colorado Springs, CO, Jeffrey Parsons of Kellogg, IA Brother of five sisters: Doris Perryman of Newton, IA, Joanne & Bob Richards of Newton, IA, Chris & Bob Townsend of Kellogg, IA, Judith Bishop of Baxter, IA, Bonnie & Don Bessman of Waterloo, IA and two brothers: Hollis Parsons of Jefferson City, MO, Norman Parsons of Hopkinton, IA Predeceased by his Brother, Carl Parsons, Jr., Brother, Lowell Parsons, Brother, Dale Parsons, Sister, Darlene, Sister, Sheryl Calling hours will be Thursday from prior to services at Pence ~ Reese Funeral Home, 310 N. 2nd Ave. E., Newton, IA. The funeral will be Thursday at 2:00 at Pence ~ Reese Funeral Home, 310 N. 2nd Ave. E., Newton with Pastor Cory Stout officiating. Burial will be in Our Silent City Cemetery, Kellogg, Iowa on Thursday at 2:00 pm. Memorials may be made to Kellogg Cemetery Association or Kellogg Park Board
