Henry J. VanderHeiden, age 63, of 906 W. 5th St. S., Newton died Saturday, November 24, 2007 at Skiff Medical Center, Newton.
Mr. VanderHeiden was born June 4, 1944 at Mitchell, SD the son of the late Henry T. and Jeanette G. (VanZee) VanderHeiden. He married CoraSchulenklopper September 20, 1968 at Newton, Iowa.
He served in the Army from 1964 to 1967 during Vietnam war .
He was employed by Cline Tool as a Brazer.
He is survived by his wife: Cora(Schulenklopper) VanderHeiden, one daughter: Amy & Mark Jacobs of Des Moines, IA and one son: Jeff & Miranda VanderHeiden of Newton, IA
Son of Jeanette G. (VanZee) VanderHeiden
Brother of one sister: Darlene Evans of Rapid City, SD and one brother: Dale & Debbie VanderHeiden of St. Joe, MI
Predeceased by his Sister, Judy Parish
Calling hours will be Tuesday from Visitation with the family will be from 6 - 8pm at Pence ~ Reese Funeral Home, 310 N. 2nd Ave. E., Newton, IA. The funeral will be Wednesday at 10:30 at Christian Reformed Church, 511 S. 5th Avenue E., Newton with Rev. Ken Krause, Pastor officiating.
Burial will be in Newton Union Cemetery, Newton on Wednesday at 11:00 am.
Memorials may be made to Newton Christian School; Bethany Christian Services
