Obituary of Harry Edwin Jorgenson, Jr.

Harry E. Jorgenson Newton Harry Edwin Jorgensen, Jr., 73, the son of Harry Edwin and Frances Marie (Emerick) Jorgenson, was born September 21, 1936, in Pullman, Michigan. He had attended school in Michigan. On November 10, 2000, Harry was united in marriage with Laura Kellogg-Constant. A longtime resident of the Des Moines, Iowa area, he moved to Newton in 2009. Harry was employed as a general laborer in construction, and devoted his life to his family and friends. Death came to Harry on December 24, 2009, at his home in Newton. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Laura on March 27, 2007; and a sister Ruth Smith on October 12, 2006. Funeral services for Harry are pending, the Pence~Reese Funeral Home in Newton, has been entrusted with the arrangements. In LIEU of flowers: Memorials in Harry's name are being designated. Those left to honor Harry's memory include his daughters: Cindy (Max) Cox and Lorie Constant (Michael Hilsenbeck), all of Newton; his six grandchildren: Ashley, Zachary, Kathleen, Michael, Michelle and Amanda; his sisters: Marilyn Stiefer of Plano, TX, Eleanor (Dan) Hall of Grants Pass, OR, Marcia Garner of Dennison, TX, Sandra (Joe) Durm of St. Ignace, MI, his brothers: Arthur M. (Jocelyne) Jorgenson of Colorado Springs, CO and Ronald A. (Linda) Jorgenson of Kafman, TX; and his many friends.
