Obituary of Rhonda Lynn Van Baale

Celebrating the Life of Rhonda Lynn Van Baale, the daughter of Wendell Lee and Betty Lou (Skaggs) Van Baale, was born January 9, 1962 in Newton, Iowa. Rhonda worked in food service for the Newton Community School District for 20 years. She retired in January 2008. Rhonda loved her family. She enjoyed collecting angels and fairies, crocheting, reading and cooking. Her favorite Bible passage is Psalm 23. Rhonda was a member of the First Assembly of God in Newton. Rhonda died on Wednesday, April 30, 2008, at the Monarch Wing at Skiff Medical Center. She was 46 years old. Rhonda was preceded in death by her grandparents, Raymond and Blanche Skaggs; her mother, Betty Lou Van Baale; and her uncle, Bud Skaggs. Those left to honor Rhondas memory include her son and daughter-in-law, Jesse and Breighann Van Baale of Newton; her daughters and sons-in-law, Betty and Billy Clark of Newton, and Lori and Cody Gronsor of Oklahoma; her, grandchildren, Kohlton Van Brogen, William Clark, Benjamin Clark, Emily Van Sant, Shelby Van Baale and her soon to be born granddaughter, Haley Gonsor; her father, Wendell Van Baale; her brother, Kevin Van Baale; and her many good friends.
