I remember Kathie taught typing class at Central Junior High in the early 70's. I would see her occasionally over the years in Newton and she was always so nice and friendly. Godspeed, Kathie.

I recently learned of Kathie's passing. Truly saddened. I have known Kathie since 1st grand at Lincoln School. All thru school, she & I sat near to each other as we were alphabetically linked. Also, as a Facebook friend, Kathie had recently encouraged me to return to Newton to start a business. RIP friend.

Lois, I am so sorry to hear of kathie's death. Tom and I will be in KC with our kids, so won't be able to attend her service, but just know I will be thinking of you and her kids. I remember all the fun times when you, Jack, Mike and Kathie would come out to visit...always a fun time. Of course, we all got in on Jack taking me to the barber shop for my flat top. I have such fond memories of those days, love you!
