To Jenifer, MaryAnn, Lorrie,Brian.... I was very sorry to see of Scotts death. I saw it in the Buffalo Center paper. Seeing that plus this video tribute brought back many great memories. Scott and I spent many Saturday nights scooping the loop and shooting baskets. Wtih Wayne B. ,Kim D. , and Scott we had many good times at the First Baptist Church in B.C. I was a bridesmaid in Scott and Nancy's wedding. I went to high school with Nancy and she was my best friend. I am so sad to hear of Scott's death. They were both amazing people and as teachers made a great contribution to our world by touching so many lives. I miss them both. My most heartfelt sympathy goes out to Jamie and Brad as well as the rest of their families.

We were saddened to hear of the loss of your father, son, brother. We rejoice that he is now in Heaven with Nancy. Our family was blessed to have known them through the Newton schools. Both of them were well-respected. Scott had a great influence on our son, who was on his basketball team. Among my favorite memories are chaperoning high school dances with them. It was very evident that they loved you & were very proud of you, Jamie & Brad. You are in our thoughts & prayers.

Jamie & Brad and families, The George family was so very saddened to read about your Dad's passing, he was so caring and an inspiration in our Boys lives coaching them in Basketball. I always enjoyed when our paths crossed and he would always ask how they were doing. He will be missed by many people, he touched so many people's lives. Scott and Nancy were greeters at our wedding--we met when all of us were just starting out in life. Scott and Jack taught at Mingo together. Nancy made every gathering fun! Together, Scott and Nancy were wonderful hosts. Wish we had gotten together more often in recent years; they both are deeply missed.

Charles Dickens said, "Whatever I have tried to do in life, I have tried with all my heart to do it well; whatever I have devoted myself to, I have devoted myself completely; in great aims and in small I have always thoroughly been in earnest." (I believe this describes Scott through and through). Dickens also said, "The pain of parting is nothing to the joy of meeting again." We will see you in Heaven, dear friend.
