Obituary of Betty Earleen Reed

Betty Earleen Reed, the daughter of Harry Ephrim and Mary A. (Allison) Anderson, was born May 5, 1927 in Monte Ray Park, California.
Betty had worked for General Motors in east Los Angeles as a computer operator and as an operations manager for Valley Medical Center in Fresno, CA. She moved to Newton, IA in 1988. Betty enjoyed being close to her family, painting, ceramics and genealogy. She was a member of the Jasper County Senior Citizens Center.
Betty died Friday, January 18, 2013 at Skiff Medical Center under the care of Skiff Hospice. She was 85 years old. Betty was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Helen and Dorothea.
Those left to honor Betty's memory include her cousins Wes Knapp, Teresa Holtan, Debbie Knapp and Connie (Mike) Ertl.
