Luke, Jordy and your families. I am so sorry I was tied up here in Florida and am not able to get back for the funeral. I too am glad I was bale to spend another August day with Lloyd and he was so fun to talk over the times we have had with Jean and Lloyd. Dick Couch also came over and we had a great time rehashing the past. Lloyd was ALWAYS on us kids' side when we were fussin' with the local gendarmes and knew down deep your brother and the rest of us were up to no good. I still use on my kids one of his favorite comments: "I've got witnesses" ... my daughter Catelynn could just scream when knows what's coming out of my mouth..."Catelynn, I know better ...and I've got witnesses." We all will miss Lloyd, other than family very few more than me. Thank you Lloyd for all you did for all of us over the years.

Uncle Lloyd, As hard as it is to see you go, I know you were ready and that you didn't want to continue to live in this world. I'll miss your smile, your laugh, your stories, our visits and long phone conversations. I don't remember a time that I haven't had you in my life. You grew up without hugs and "I love you", as I did. You decided a few years ago that you needed to start giving hugs and tell your family that you loved them. Thanks for those hugs and words. It broke my heart to see you not be able to talk the last few months, but you still gave me hugs and I could see in your eyes the words. Rest in peace Uncle Lloyd. Give my dad a hug, my love to Jean and grandma & grandpa, and tell Lee he's not forgotten and never will be. Love you!

We are so sorry to hear about lloyds passing.He and your mom were wonderful neighbors to us through the years.He always helped keep those sidewalks clear lol.He will be missed very much by all his neighbors. thoughts and prayers go out to all of lloyds family and friends.

Grandpa, while my heart knows that you are where you want and need to be, back in grandma's arms my brain doesn't want to let go. I will continue to share many memories with Mackenzie as she gets older. Give grandma and geezer a hug from us both and we will see you again someday. Love you always.

Luke-Your Dad was my first boss, I spent more time growing up at the station than I did at home. I still wash cars like he taught me when I was washing his white cadillac after he & your mom went for their Sunday afternoon rides. I am glad that my wife & I were able to stop & talk with him and that your cousin & my classmate, Pat Versteegh found me so that we had the visit before it was too late. Whenever I see a chrome snap-on wrench I will smile & think about your Dad. My thoughts & prayers are with you & your family always.

Words cannot even begin to express my feelings of loss for you Luke. Your dad always looked out for our house even after mom & dad passed and I cannot thank him enough. I am glad I got to spend time with him after my mom passed - he will truly be missed.

Luke - so sorry to read about your dad's passing. I so loved your mom and dad and remember them fondly and being at the house. I didnot realize until reading his obit that mom had also passed. Know they are both in a better place and watching over you. Plus I am sure they are once again bickering with Lee (Geezer). Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. Sue
