You are so missed! Thank you for our 3 children and from them the grandchildren. They are so young to have lost such s great dad and grandpa. Even though we went our seperate ways, we still remained close friends & family. I was so happy that you found and married Renee, she is a true gem. I still have voicemail from the night before your death, & listen to it often. Its not going to be the same without you here. But our fond memories will have to get us thru. Love never dies! Love you always.

It has been so many years since I last saw Rod. (St. Louis, Mo 1981 to be exact) Myself along with Bob Lundberg Clay Rhoades Brett Renwick Jeff Bersinger and Paul Lundberg traveled with Rod during the traveling linemen days. We hung cable TV when cable TV was new. Traveling to some pretty exciting cities and just as exciting small towns. We worked together played together and lived together usually all of us cramped in to one hotel room sleeping where ever there was an open spot. For Rod it was usually in the bath tub. We laughed and cried together facing the challenges thrown our way, all together. We had each others back. Almost all of us are gone now. Rod was fun and funny but most of all, Rod was a loyal friend. If you knew Rod you were his friend for life. The video is perfect and in true Rod fashion. Free Bird was his mantra. My sympathies to Rods family for your tremendous loss. Rest in peace old friend.

I am a former classmate of Rod's. He was always so nice to me. He came to our last class reunion and I hadn't seen him since school days. I was thrilled to get to see and talk to him. He gave me the usual big hug and talked up a storm to me. I'm so glad I had that last time with him. May he rest in peace and be his happiest. I will always have fond memories of Rod. To his friends and family I am so sorry for your loss.
