To Mrs Grier's family, My deepest & sincere sympathy go out to all of you. Your mother was one of the sweetest ladies I have ever met. My mother, Yvonna Anderson sold Avon to your mom for many years. I had the pleasure of delivering her Avon order on many occasions. She always had a smile on her face when she met me at the door. When we would chat for a few minutes, she talked very fondly of all her family. The world could use a few more people like your mother.

Eleanor and Paul visited us in Canada with Uncle Cecil and Aunt Louise and we picked wild blueberries in the bush (forest) and made those into a pie - only one of many fond memories.

Each day I would enter her room and say; "what have you been doing?" and she would reply; "Waiting for you!" and smile the same smile she would give me at night in bed when I told her I would be back tomorrow and play the piano for her. After the smile she would always say; "I hope so!" I really miss you Eleanor Goodbye. your are now at rest with those you thought about. love Lou

I met Eleanor at Park Centre where my mother is residing. She always seemed so pleasant and always liked to listen to the music that her friend shared with all the residents. I will surely miss her smile. Her daughter Diane was wonderful to her mom and I know there is a special crown for her someday for all her love she showed her mom. God Bless to Eleanor's family. Eleanor was a very special sister in law. One special memory was of Paul and her coming to Laverne and min little home shortly after we married and we all went to Cedar Rapids to a Lawerence Welk concert and of course all our family gatherings and Eleanor and I keeping our children while Paul and Laverne went on to the Drake Relays together.
