Obituary of Randy Lee Williams

Randy Lee Williams, the son of John Williams and Laura Elizabeth Clevenger, was born December 6, 1957 in Oskaloosa, Iowa. He attended New Sharron schools until moving to Newton in 1966. He attended Emmerson Hough Elementary, Central Jr. High and graduated from the Newton Senior High with the class of 1975. On November 29, 1985, Randy was united in marriage with Theresa Ann Berry in Newton, Iowa. He worked for the Maytag Company in the Rubber Room and in Porcelain. Randy enjoyed fishing, riding horseback, and loved to spend time with his children and grandchildren. Randy died on Friday, September 18, 2009 at his home in Newton. He was 51 years old. Randy was preceded in death by his father; his grandparents, John and Sue Clevenger and John and Nell Williams; an uncle, George Clevenger and three cousins, Steve Clevenger, Dennis Hastings and Tim Hastings. Those left to honor Randy's memory include his wife, Theresa Ann Williams of Newton; his son, Jade Donald Williams of Newton; his daughters, Brandi Sue Williams of Newton and Mallory Jo Williams (Gage) Richardson of Newton; his grandchildren, Gavin Lee Williams and Shelby Ann Richardson; his mother, Elizabeth Williams of New Sharon; his brothers, John Williams of Baxter, Mark (Sheri) Williams of Altoona; his sisters, Ruth (Dick) Phillips of Ferguson, IA, Rachel (Mitchell) Lamberson of New Sharon, Renata (Wayne) Vairo of Chariton; his mother-in-law, JoAnne Stier of Newton; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Paul (Janice) Berry of Newton; his brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Paula Jo Mick (Rex Lippert), Barb (Rob) Shephard, Tammy Stier, Mike (Adriana) Stier; his five aunt, two uncles and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
