Obituary of Judith Bernice Rousseau

Judith Bernice Rousseau, the daughter of R. Edwin and Margaret Cecile Edwards Allen, was born May 12, 1945 in Trenton, NJ. She graduated from Pennsbury Senior High Scholl with the class of 1961 and received a teaching degree from Millersville University in Millersville, PA in 1966. On December 21, 1968 Judy was united in marriage with John L. Rousseau in Morrisville, PA. Judy was a special person and always had a smile on her face. She brightened the lives of everyone around her. Judy chose to make her family her priority and though she worked at several jobs in her lifetime, she always succeeded in her goal of caring for her family. She was funny, patient, giving and always ready to listen. She had a true gift for making things better. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed more than any words can express. Judy was a member of the First Reformed Church in Sully. Judy died on Sunday, December 11, 2011 at her home in Killduff. She was 66 years old. Judy was preceded in death by her mother; a brother-in-law, Harry Null; and a sister-in-law, Dianne Rousseau. Those left to honor Judy's memory include her husband, John L. Rousseau of Killduff, IA; her father, R. Edwin Allen of Yardley, PA; her daughters, Susan Crocker of Killduff, IA and Michelle (Chad) Squires of Killduff, IA; her son, Jay (Kelly) Rousseau of Hanover, MD; her grandchildren, Trevor, Evan and Kyle Squires and Madison Cocker; her sisters, Barbara (David) Goodwin and Joanne Null; her brother, Rusty (Cindy) Allen; brother-in-law, Bill Rousseau, and ten nieces and nephews. The family will greet friends on Wednesday, December 14th from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the Pence ~ Reese Funeral Home in Newton. Private family services will be held at a later date.
