We are so sorry to hear of Larry's passing. He was such a great guy to have known. There were very few times that Larry was not at his kids activities, and when he was sick, I know he would try to be there anyway possible if he could. All the dance recitals, dance competitions, show choir performances, band & chorus concerts, football games, swim meets and many others. I especially remember the help that he gave to the band boosters. Helping push out the equipment during marching band, always there smiling in the stands, and the long days of dance competitions. They were all long and tiring, but Larry and Tammy always had those smiles and support for everyone. He will be missed. Tammy and kids, you will be in our hearts and prayers and were there to lift us up, now it is our turn to lift you up.

Dear Tammy,
I remembered you and your family, Lucas, Logan, Leah and Lauren these past days.
The words of Jesus to Jairus, the synagogue official, in last Sunday's gospel came to mind as I prayed. "Do not be afraid; just have faith."
Next week I begin my annual retreat and I will offer Mass for Larry and the family.
Peace, Fr. Tom Spiegel

Larry and I graduated the same year, worked at Hy-Vee West and liked to ride our motorcycles together. Our last day of high school is one of my best memories of Larry. Early that morning, we met at the Hy-Vee parking lot. Larry, Jeff McGinley and I rode around in Larry's car joking, laughing, reminiscing and listening to Bob Seger's Against the Wind. We had a great time! I will never forget Larry!

I remember when Larry moved to Newton, we were in third grade at BC Berg Elementary. He quickly became everyone's friend including mine. My family moved away in 1974, and when I returned to town 15 years later - one of the first people I met up with was Larry. He was the same as I remembered from grade school. Larry was timeless, always friendly, always positive, always an absolute joy to be around.
Tanya and I send our sympathy and support to Tammy and the Norcross family, and trust that your faith will assist greatly in this difficult time.

Larry was a friend of my brother Jim. I recall meeting him on several occasions found Larry to be a great guy, as well, I'm sure a wonderful a father, husband and friend to all. Some day we'll meet again in another time in another place where there is no sorrow, there is no sickness, and there is no more pain.
God Bless you all as you move forward celebrating great times you've had over the years. Your memories will forever be your souvenirs. My condolences, thoughts and prayers for strength and peace are for you all in this difficult time. John 14:2-4 1 Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. 2 In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. also: Psalm 23

First met Larry when he joined NMC just in time for a trip to Hawaii. It always struck me how incredibly positive and truly happy he always seemed. Larry was the guy you could spend five minutes with and walk away feeling lifted.... he just took you to where he was.
Larry, my old friend, you will be sorely missed even while we're grateful to have known you.
My condolences to his family. You will all be in my prayers.

Larry was a person who lit up any room he entered. Years back he was traveling in the NYC area for Newton Mfg. Co. and, rather than his taking us out for dinner as he suggested, we asked him to come to dinner at our home. Our sons, all in high school or college at the time, continued to ask about Larry over the years because he made such an impression on them. Whenever we attended an industry show we would look for Larry, and sometimes we were lucky enough to meet up with him. His smile and cheery attitude were a joy to us all.

We have such fun and great memories of Larry and Tammy on Newton incentive trips that we will always cherish. We are so thankful for our pictures from these trips that we can look back on and smile and laugh at the good times we had together. Larry picked us up at the Des Moines airport back in October of 1998 when we went full time with the business. He drove us around to factories and even to the Amish Country and we had such a great time. We even got to out to dinner with Larry and Tammy in Newton and that was so much fun. He and we want to say Logan, took us to catch our flight back home and we all shared some more good laughs. We have so many nice memories that we can look back on. When we think of Larry, we will think of his big smile and laugh and what a joy he was to be around. Tammy, we will continue to lift you and your family up in our daily prayers and thoughts. Love always, Mickey & Marie

I remember Larry as a little boy running, playing and forever with that big grin on his face. Betty was my age and Larry, my brothers and what fun we had playing, being right next door. As all the years went by and time and miles seperated us we always got together and kept in touch. I loved your family and how you each loved and cared for each other. I could never figure out that love until I met Jesus as my savior and then knew that makes all the difference. Larry and Tammy, Russ and Gail, Betty and Family thank you for running your race well. I used to work at the YMCA at the Main Desk so I had a lot of time to get to know the Norcross Family. I have never met a family like theirs. They are an inspiration to us all! I will never forget what a great Swim Dad Larry was. He never missed an event nor being one of the loudest voices you could hear as he cheered on his four beautiful children. Larry was an amazing man and I feel priveledged to have met him. He was an inspiration to us all here on earth and will continue to be an inspiration to everyone from Heaven. God bless Tammy, Leah, Lauren, Lucas, and Logan. My heart is breaking for you. You will find much peace in God's Love knowing that Larry is finally with his Father in Heaven. He is now and forever will be your Guardian Angel! Lots of Love, Shannon, Matthew, and Meghan.

I was honored to have Larry as a client, and as time went on, a wonderful friend. At a time when I was at a very low point, and was making decisions on what path to take with a tumor, Larry was a bright light of hope, and a wealth of knowledge regarding the Gamma Knife. A large part of my decision to go that route was due to the utmost respect I had for Larry. I'll be forever grateful for his guidance and words of inspriation. My thoughts and prayers go out to Larry and his family.
