Obituary of Gregg Andrew Nimmo

Gregg Andrew Nimmo, 44, began the race of life on February 4, 1967 and crossed the finish line thru the portals of glory on August 30, 2011.
Gregg is survived by his children, Tami Lee Duff, Samantha Nimmo, Kolton Grissom and Justin Nimmo; his four grandchildren, his brother and three sisters; his mother, Carolyn Mayhew-Livengood of Newton.
Gregg was preceded in death by his father, Howard "Ike" Nimmo, Jr. and both sets of his grandparents.
Gregg enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren being young at heart himself.
Gregg was an adventurous person and outdoorsman. He enjoyed boating, hunting and camping and was often complemented on his campfire chili.
At the end of his earthly life, Gregg gave life-saving gifts to others by being an organ donor. His love of life and care for others continues on and we will all miss him and his hugs that were so genuine.
