Obituary of Judith Ann Ware

Judith Ann Ware, the daughter of Vernon and Pearl W. Gunther Ware, was born December 9, 1940 in Iowa City, Iowa. She attended schools in Colfax and Newton.
Judy worked for the Maytag Company, retiring in 1992. She enjoyed fishing, camping and being outdoors, mushroom hunting, embroidery and spending time with friends and family.
Judy died on Saturday, August 20, 2011, at the Skiff Hospice Monarch Wing in in Newton. She was 70 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Those left to honor Judy's memory include her sister, Evelyn Ware of Newton; her cousins, Earlene Colvell of New Market, Minnesota and Howard (Lori) Gunther of Burnsville, Minnesota and her faithful dog, Teddy.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 24th at the Pence ~ Reese Funeral Home in Newton. Friends may greet the family Wednesday from 12 noon until service time at the funeral home. Memorials may be left in Judy's name at the funeral home.
