Q: What will you miss most about Earl? A: Here is the final portion of your celebration! So many came to say the last goodbye to a man that was so different to so many! Ornery, funny, loving,friendly, he played a different role to so many around him! He will be missed but never will he be forgotten

Oh grandpa Earl ! That July 2nd birthday just isn’t gunna be the same next year ! As we always celebrated together with a hug and a happy birthday! I’ll never forget the man who taught me how to catch worms by the dozen in the front yard ! I have so many favorite memories of my grandpa! But my favorite are always him fishing with my kids ! The memories he left my children with are hands down one of a kind! Grandpa I love you ps I’m trying to fill this out with a thousands memories dancing to be picked and everyone chatting about you !

Q: What will you never forget about Earl? A: A couple of trips we took first one we was talking his sister and her kids back to West Virginia, how I laughed the whole way there, on our way home we had to take a bus and earl had snuck a battery onboard he sat way in the back by the commode the whole trip was a blast , oh how that man could make me laugh

Q: What will you never forget about Earl? A: I remember sitting at my mom’s table one morning, when I was up for a visit for thanksgiving! And I had gotten in late the night before , so no one knew I was there yet, My mom and I were chatting and having coffee when grandpa walked out of his room and said good morning ladies, ( I am his grandson and ! At that time my hair was to my shoulders) and without looking he grabbed my hair and was messing with it and said your hair sure smells good young lady! I turned and looked at him and said well thank you grandpa in my man voice , and the shock on his face was priceless, grandpa never knew what kind of cut he would see me in cause my hair was always different each time he seen me! He was always telling me I needed a hair cut!

Q: How did you meet Earl? A: I remember grandpa from when I was really young, I don’t exactly remember when I met him for the first time but he’s always been here ever since i was little, one of my first memories with grandpa was when I lost my front teeth and everyone joked with me about how I looked like grandpa earl, he always gave me crap and just messed with me they are all great memories I’m going to keep forever.

My papa Earl, the sweetest man a granddaughter could ever want in her life. He always made sure I wasn’t struggling… (a $20 or all the change in his pockets he had that day). When we meet again, I hope we catch big catfish in those golden rivers you probably are fishing in. I love you grandpa

Riding in the old blue truck on our way back from Altoona , and the rain started to pour, dad said Ty grab that string and start pulling , as i did the wipers started to move! I was in 3rd grade when I got to experience this jimmy rigging experience, and he was known for all his clever ways of doing things! To listen to the story’s of him on a job site could keep a reader entertained for hrs.
