Obituary of In Yup Yi

In Yup Yi, of Newton, died Friday, June 14, 2024, at MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center, she was 85.  In Yup Yi, the daughter of Soo Young Lee and Hoo Im (Yang) Lee, was born February 5, 1939, in Seoul, Korea. 

  In Yup Yi, had devoted her life to her family and friends, as a homemaker.  She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

  Those left to honor her memory include her daughter Jenifer Lund of Kansas City, MO; brothers: In Taik (Soon Hee) Lee of Des Moines and In Ho Lee of California; a sister In Ja (Chun B.) Chun of Newton; her nieces, nephews, cousins; and her many extended family and friends.

   A Private Family Services, for In Yup Yi, are Pending, and the Pence ~ Reese Funeral Home in Newton, have been entrusted with the arrangements.
