When I was in high school, I was a cheerleader. Wally would bring that darn cowbell and ring it while I was in the middle of a cheer. I would start laughing, ahmed have to stop and turn around. He was the only one that could get me to mess up! Oh Wallway.

Wally was a great guy. He was always so kind and helpful whenever I went into Pet Kingdom. He and Sharon did a lot for the Newton community over the past few years. He will be greatly missed.

Wally was my friend,boss,and a father figure to me.He could always make me laugh there at the counter at Pet Kingdom.Wally taught me so much about dog food and life.He was one in a million and will be greatly missed but he is in all of our hearts.My prayers and thoughts go to my second family the Wallways!!!

Pet Kingdom and our family will miss you Wally. I asked Wally one day why did LD buy Saint Bernard food for our Golden Retrievers as they were 20# overweight. He said LD never told me you have Goldens. He ran a great business for our 4 legged family. We will miss him. Glenda & LD

I am guessing but I suppose I am/was Uncle Wally's oldest niece. Oh how he teased me when I was little. He had such a presence when he walked into a room. He still looked very much like the handsome man hanging in the hall of my nana and papas home. I sat with him during the reception for my papas funeral and caught up on stories about his family. The last time I saw him..what an interesting thing.. I was planning to stop into Newton on my way to Maryland. Audrey was in the hospital and he and Aunt Sharon were on their way to visit her. So we talked on the phone as we drove in opposite directions on the same freeway. We waved and grinned like idiots as we passed each other. Me in a 26' rental truck moving from Oregon to the East Coast. I will miss you Uncle Wally. Thank you for serving our country and for being my moms big brother. Sincerely, Rachelle

You just couldn't find a nicer, more respectful man. I will miss his sincere kindness and his extensive knowledge of all things four-legged. He always showed genuine interest in my family, especially my twins, Carley and Carson. He never missed an opportunity to teach them something when we visited the shop. He will be truly missed.
