Thomas Jean “Tom” Wearmouth, 67, the son of Thomas Earl and Gladys Marie (Olmstead) Wearmouth, was born October 9, 1954, in Des Moines.  He would attend school in Colfax.  Funeral services for Tom will be held at a later date, with burial in Newton Memorial Park Cemetery.  The Pence ~ Reese Funeral Home in Newton, is handling the arrangements.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to Tom’s family or to a charity of your choosing. 

Tom was employed by Sysco Food, in the warehouse, loading trucks.  He had devoted his life to his family.   

Tom died Friday afternoon, July 15, 2022, at MercyOne Medical Center in Des Moines.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Those left to honor Tom’s memory include his siblings: a sister Jayne (Dale) Reynolds; his brothers: Howard (Julie) Wearmouth, Richard (Rebecca) Wearmouth and Jan Wearmouth; all of Newton; several nieces and nephews; and his many extended family and friends.
