Obituary of Teresa Jesse Hauge

Teresa Jesse Healy Hauge, the daughter of John and Mildred Belle (Saddler) Healy was born April 19, 1931, in Newton, Iowa. She graduated from Saint Joseph's Academy in Des Moines, Iowa. On June 18, 1951, Teresa was united in marriage with Claude Hauge in Newton, Iowa. Teresa devoted her life to her husband and five children. She earned her private pilot's license and was an amateur radio operator. She was a member of the Amateur Radio Club, the Polar Amateur Radio Club, Homemaker's Club, and the Civil Air Patrol. While living in Alaska she created and sold oil paintings of the Alaskan wilderness. Teresa was a member of Saint Nicholas of Myra Byzantine Catholic Church in Anchorage, Alaska, a founding member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Whitehouse, Texas and Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Newton, Iowa. Teresa died on Monday, May 30, 2022, at her home in Newton. She was 91 years old. Those left to honor Teresa's memory include her daughters, Kathy (Dan) Kleinfeldt and Yvonne Yon (Gary) her sons, Jerry (Millie) Hauge, Larry (Melita) Hauge, and Eric (Judy) Hauge; her grandchildren, Janel (Drew) Zinn, Cari (Justin) Podzemny, Beth (Randy) Rosales, Annie (Sean) Anderson, Alan (Jill) Hauge, Joel (Amber) Hauge, Paul Hauge, Erin (Brennan) McAlpin, Cameron Hauge, Tommy Hauge and Danny Hauge; her great grandchildren, Jackson Zinn, Foster Zinn, Alexander Podzemny, Ronan Podzemny, Vanessa Rosales, Cristian Rosales, Graciela Rosales, Evan Anderson, Gabrielle Anderson, Maxwell Anderson, Ashton Hauge, Brayden Hauge, Ally Hauge, Isabel Hauge, Andrew Hauge, Liam Hauge, Matilda Hauge, Watson Hauge, Collin McAlpin, Kaylee McAlpin, Kason McAlpin.
