Obituary of Keith Elmer Brown

Keith Elmer Brown, the son of Elmer Sylvester and Eula Ann (Pierce) Brown, was born December 20, 1936, in Fayette, Iowa. Keith graduated from the LeClaire, Iowa High School.

On May 31, 1958, Keith was united in marriage with Alice Faye Atkinson in LeClaire, Iowa. Keith worked as a carpenter, building homes and working remodeling projects throughout eastern Iowa, Dallas, Texas and Wilkesboro, North Carolina. Keith enjoyed woodworking, horses and was active at LeClaire Baptist Church.

Keith died on Friday, May 13, 2022, at Glen Oak's Senior Living in Urbandale, Iowa. He was 85 years old. Keith was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter-in-law; and a brother, Arlan Brown.

Those left to honor Keith's memory include his wife, Alice; his sons, Kevin (Sheryl) Brown, Mark Brown, Brian (Becky) Brown; his daughter, Kimberly (Kurt) Hunt; his grandchildren, Stacey (Jason) West, Stephanie (Josh) Perry, Laura Brown, Devin (Ashley) Hunt, Zachary (Meredith) Hunt, Travis Hunt, Jessica Brown, Jason (Sierra) Brown, Jenna Brown; his great grandchildren, Braxton West, Jaxon West, Daxon West, Ella Perry, Owen Perry, Harris Perry, Jace Paul, Nova Brown, Jaxon Brown, Johnathon Brown; his siblings, Arliss (Bill) Herman, Donna (Dan) Eastman, DeWayne Brown, Kay (Glen) Long.

A time celebrating Keith's life will begin at 4:30pm on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at the Pence Reese Tribute Center. A time of fellowship with the family will follow the service. Memorials may be designated to the Franklin Graham Ministries.
