I always say I learned more from nurses than from physicians on how to be a good doctor. Deb is certainly one of those who had such an important role in teaching me how to communicate effectively and how to keep the patient first. I am so proud to call her one of my dearest friends and will always cherish our monthly get togethers. She loved her family fiercely and passed on her grit and compassion to her daughters.
